A true coming together of ideas, a collaboration between INN. and local retail store Comunete. INN. created progressive concepts based on Comunete’s established ideals. With a background in furniture manufacturing and fashion design, Comunete bought their own layer. Both wanted to venture outside of conventional retail design to present their much-loved regional town with a fresh point of view and new way of thinking.
Through gritty textured plaster, mixed materials and a harmonious palette, each interior component provides an opportunity to hero the carefully selected object or garment that makes up Comunete’s unique curation of fashion and homewares.
Championing local manufacturing, fittings were produced locally. Custom steel and metal falls alongside Comunete’s own upholstery and woodwork. The translucent feature wall while functional, is quiet and impactful – a representation of Comunete’s retail perspective. Select plaster finishes set the tone in an environment that is serene and light for its visitor.
